Winding Down the Child Support Guidelines Software Plus

I have accepted an exciting employment opportunity and I need to wind down the New Mexico Child Support Guidelines Software PLUS.  My intention is to provide you with support and a sufficient period of time to find an alternative software program.

Effective immediately, new court and private licenses are no longer available.

Existing licenses:

  1. Court Licenses.  I will work with each court to inventory the number and identification of each license so that I can continue to provide support as provided below.
  2. Private Licenses.  Existing Customers may increase their number of licenses through February 28, 2015.  Support will be as provided below.

Support for existing licenses will be as follows:

  1. Registration Key Files.  When you replace a computer, I will provide a replacement Registration Key File.  This support will be continued at no cost through December 31, 2015.
  2. Installation.  I will remain available for limited installation consultations at no cost.
  3. Maintenance Releases.  The software will remain “as is.”  I may fix bugs between now and December 31, 2015.  The decision on bug fixes will be handled on a case by case basis.  Any bug fixes will be made available at no cost.
  4. Unsupported Changes.  Significant changes, such as new versions of Microsoft Windows, how anti-virus software affects the software, changes in the law, and other similar developments will not be supported.
  5. 2015 Legislature.  To preserve the longevity of your license, if the Legislature changes how combined incomes of $800 or less, and if a simple software revision is possible, I will modify the software.  This revision appears to be the only recommendation of the Child Support Review Commission.

Thank you for your patronage and your support,

David Levin
